Remote Accountant

Job Description:

Kuda Bank is seeking a dedicated and motivated Remote Accountant to join our team in Port Harcourt, NG. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This part-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes 2. Prepare and analyze financial statements 3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data 4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes 5. Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations 6. Provide financial reports to management on a regular basis 7. Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting processes 8. Utilize accounting software to streamline financial operations

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2. CPA certification preferred 3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting 4. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment 8. Persuasion skills to effectively communicate financial information 9. Ability to work remotely and manage time efficiently
