Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

KPMG Nigeria is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home in Ibadan, Nigeria. As an Associate Level Accountant with at least 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and providing support to our clients in various industries.

Responsibilities: - Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports - Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting - Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits - Provide financial guidance and support to clients - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification or equivalent preferred - Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations - Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Reliable and resilient personality traits - Creativity and research soft skills
