Job Description:

Standard Chartered Bank in Ibadan, NG is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices and reconcile vendor accounts - Review and verify invoices for accuracy - Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments - Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies - Assist in month-end closing processes - Maintain accurate financial records and documentation - Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and any discrepancies - Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed - Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - 3 years of experience in accounts payable - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Confident and resilient personality traits - Soft skills in strategic planning and persuasion - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
