Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Cowrywise, a leading financial technology company, is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Ibadan, NG. This position is ideal for individuals with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role who possess a high level of energy and confidence.

Responsibilities: 1. Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments 2. Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies 3. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions 4. Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and answer inquiries 5. Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable 6. Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and systems 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures related to accounts payable

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field 3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy 4. Excellent organizational and time management skills 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software 6. Energetic personality and confident communication style 7. Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 8. Strong people management skills
