Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Ernst & Young is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Lagos, NG. This part-time position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. The ideal candidate will be independent, driven, and possess strong negotiation and time management skills.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process payments to vendors in a timely manner - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Collaborate with colleagues worldwide to ensure a seamless accounts payable process - Provide support to other team members as needed - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Detail-oriented and well-organized - Experience working in a remote or virtual environment is a plus
