Job Description:

UBA Group is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable specialist in Abuja, Nigeria. As a part-time entry-level position, this role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in finance.

Responsibilities: - Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in an accurate and timely manner - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and issues - Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable - Maintain organized and updated financial records - Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and identify areas for improvement - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable processes

Requirements: - No prior experience required, but a degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Resourceful and resilient in handling challenges and solving problems - Leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Ability to conduct research and analyze financial data - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
