Job Description - Call Center Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:


Airtel Nigeria is seeking a dedicated and proactive Call Center Assistant to join our remote team in Lagos, Nigeria. As a part-time Associate Level employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers through phone calls, emails, and online chat sessions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or inquiries efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails and chat messages in a timely manner. 2. Assist customers with product inquiries, account issues, billing questions, and technical support. 3. Troubleshoot customer problems and provide solutions or escalate issues as needed. 4. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 5. Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved satisfactorily. 6. Provide feedback to management on customer trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures while delivering exceptional service to customers.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role. 2. Hardworking and resilient personality traits. 3. Strong presentation and critical thinking skills. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer service software. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training is a plus.
