Chat Support Officer - Remote Work

Job Description:

Unilever Nigeria is looking for a Chat Support Officer to work remotely from Ibadan, NG on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level position, we require a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. The successful candidate must exhibit personality traits such as resilience and independence, as well as possess soft skills in analysis and negotiation.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Proactively engage with customers to provide assistance and recommendations on products and services. 3. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 4. Utilize chat support software to effectively communicate with customers and maintain accurate records of interactions. 5. Analyze customer data and feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 6. Assist in creating chat support guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency and quality service delivery. 7. Meet performance metrics related to response times, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 2. Proven experience in customer service or a related field. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 5. Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments. 6. Proficiency in using chat support tools and software. 7. Availability to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends.
