Account Support Assistant

Job Description:

Farmcrowdy is seeking a part-time Account Support Assistant to join our team in Lagos. As an Associate Level role, the Account Support Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the finance team in daily operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, and possess the personality traits of being adaptable and resilient.

Responsibilities: - Assisting with accounts payable and receivable tasks - Reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports - Supporting the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities - Helping to maintain accurate financial records and documentation - Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial inquiries - Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations - Providing general administrative support to the finance department

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role - Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment - Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail - Adaptable and resilient personality traits - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
