Chat Support Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a Chat Support Assistant to join our team at British American Tobacco in Abuja, NG. As a part-time Associate Level role, with a requirement of 3 years of experience, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through our chat support platform.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through our chat support platform to provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries and provide solutions to problems. 2. Manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency. 3. Use persuasion and creativity to upsell products and services to customers during chat interactions. 4. Work closely with other departments to gather information and resolve complex customer issues. 5. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.

Requirements: 1. Energetic and hardworking personality traits to ensure a positive and engaging customer experience. 2. Strong soft skills in persuasion and creativity to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales. 3. Previous experience in customer service or chat support roles is preferred. 4. Excellent written communication skills with a keen attention to detail. 5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 6. Proficiency in using chat support software and customer relationship management systems.
