Remote Chat Support Manager

Job Description:

Paylater is seeking a Remote Chat Support Manager to join our team in Lagos. As a part-time position at a mid-to-senior level, the ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in customer service or support roles.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of remote chat support agents, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service delivery. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve response times and customer satisfaction ratings. 3. Monitor chat support interactions and provide feedback to agents for continuous improvement. 4. Utilize data and analytics to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. 5. Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve overall service quality. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in chat support management.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 2. Proven experience in a customer support or service role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position. 3. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a strong command of English. 4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations. 5. Driven and reliable, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. 6. Emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with customers to provide a positive support experience.
