Job Description:
Jumia is looking for a dedicated and motivated Live Chat Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time, work-from-home position based in Abuja, NG. As a Live Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through live chat support for our customers.
Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally through live chat. 2. Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, processing returns, and any other inquiries they may have. 3. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude with customers at all times. 4. Conduct research to find solutions to customer problems and provide accurate information. 5. Utilize emotional intelligence to understand and empathize with customers' needs and concerns. 6. Escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate department for further assistance. 7. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Requirements: 1. At least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 3. Strong research skills to find solutions to customer inquiries. 4. Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers. 5. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment. 6. Must have a dedicated workspace with a reliable internet connection. 7. Proficient in using live chat software and other customer service tools.
