Job Description - Online Customer Service Officer

Job Description: Lafarge Africa is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Online Customer Service Officer to join our team in Lagos, NG. As a part-time Associate Level position, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our online consumers.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries via email, live chat, and social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with product or service-related issues, provide recommendations, and resolve complaints. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately. 4. Maintain customer records and ensure data accuracy. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and address recurring issues. 6. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies. 7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide innovative solutions. 8. Monitor online reviews and feedback, and escalate any critical issues to management. 9. Work towards achieving customer satisfaction and retention targets. 10. Participate in training sessions and continuous learning opportunities.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an online environment. 3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Strong problem-solving capabilities and conflict resolution skills. 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 6. Proficient in using CRM software and other customer service tools. 7. Cooperates well in a team setting and demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt. 8. Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Personality Traits: 1. Dedicated: Shows commitment and reliability in carrying out job responsibilities. 2.
