Web Chat Representative

Job Description: As a Web Chat Representative at Jumia in Abuja, NG, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support through online chat. You will interact with customers to answer their questions, provide information about products and services, resolve any issues or complaints, and ensure a positive user experience. You will also assist with order processing, tracking shipments, and following up with customers post-purchase. Additionally, you will collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance the overall customer service experience.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through web chat - Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner - Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers - Process orders and track shipments - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer service - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends - Meet performance goals and targets set by the company

Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer skills and familiarity with web chat platforms - Motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic - Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Customer service experience is a plus but not required
