Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

Konga Group is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team. This position is fully remote and will be based in Abuja, Nigeria. We are looking for an individual with entry-level experience who is resourceful, adaptable, and has strong decision-making and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's products and services. 2. Write and edit content for various communication channels including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications. 3. Manage media relations and coordinate interviews with key company spokespeople. 4. Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels. 6. Assist in organizing events and promotional activities to enhance the company's brand.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 3. Strong organizational and time management skills. 4. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 5. Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms. 6. Prior experience in a communications role is a plus but not required.
