Job Description:

Paylater is seeking a resourceful and reliable Public Relations Associate to join our team on a remote basis. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive public image for our company. This role will involve working closely with the PR Manager to develop and execute public relations campaigns, manage media relationships, and create compelling content for press releases and other communication materials.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns - Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists - Draft press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and secure media placements - Monitor and analyze media coverage - Create content for social media platforms to support PR efforts - Assist in organizing and coordinating events, press conferences, and other PR activities - Conduct research to support PR initiatives - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - 1 year of experience in a public relations role - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms - Experience with PR tools and software is a plus - Must be resourceful, reliable, cooperative, and adaptable
