Job Description:
Chevron Nigeria is seeking a talented and experienced PR Associate to join our team in Lagos, NG on a part-time basis. As an Associate Level PR professional with at least 4 years of experience, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic communication campaigns to promote and protect the reputation of Chevron Nigeria.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies and campaigns to enhance the company's reputation and increase brand awareness - Proactively seek out opportunities for media coverage and secure placements in print, broadcast, and digital media - Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry influencers - Write and edit press releases, speeches, articles, and other communication materials - Monitor and analyze media coverage and report on PR metrics to measure the success of campaigns - Assist in crisis communication efforts and manage media inquiries during high-pressure situations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of PR efforts with overall business objectives - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve PR initiatives
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field - 4+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or a similar role - Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proven research abilities to gather and analyze information for PR campaigns - Resourceful and independent, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
