Job Description:
KPMG Nigeria is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Associate to join our team on a part-time basis, working remotely from Ibadan, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in public relations or a related field. This position is entry-level and offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies to promote the company's brand and image - Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials - Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts - Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics - Assist in the planning and execution of PR events and campaigns - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR - Other duties as assigned
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - 1+ years of experience in public relations or a similar role - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Confident and hardworking attitude - People management and persuasion skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing - Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
