Job Description - Website Manager - Part-Time

Website Maintenance:

  • Regularly update and maintain the website to ensure all features and functionalities are working correctly.
  • Monitor and address any technical issues promptly, collaborating with IT or web development teams as needed.

Content Management:

  • Create, update, and manage website content, including information about salon services, stylists, pricing, and promotions.
  • Ensure that all content is accurate, current, and aligns with the salon's branding and messaging.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization):

  • Optimize website content for search engines to improve visibility and attract organic traffic.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance the website's search engine rankings.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Use web analytics tools to track website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management regarding website traffic, user behavior, and other relevant metrics.

User Experience (UX) Optimization:

  • Enhance the overall user experience by ensuring a user-friendly navigation structure and intuitive design.
  • Implement improvements based on user feedback and analytics data.

Mobile Responsiveness:

  • Ensure that the website is optimized for mobile devices, providing a seamless experience for users on smartphones and tablets.

Security Measures:

  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect the website from potential threats and cyberattacks.
  • Regularly update software, plugins, and security protocols.

Social Media Integration:

  • Integrate and synchronize social media platforms with the website to cross-promote content and engage with the salon's online community.

E-commerce Management (if applicable):

  • Oversee the functionality of an online booking system or e-commerce platform if the salon offers online services or product sales.
  • Ensure secure and efficient payment processing.

Collaboration with Marketing Team:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align online strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate the implementation of online campaigns and promotions on the website.

Customer Support:

  • Provide support for website users, addressing inquiries, feedback, and technical issues.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and comments to maintain a positive online reputation.

Compliance with Regulations:

  • Ensure that the website complies with relevant regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.

Regular Audits:
