The activities in a maximum care hospital are diverse and interdisciplinary. We are responsible for key areas of day-to-day hospital operations and guarantee optimum care for secondary processes. This includes the areas of project management, construction & technology, laundry, AEMP, security services, UKM IT, logistics, archives and much more.

IT - Medical IT Specialist (m/f/d)

If you enjoy the following tasks ....

• Administrative and system support of the laboratory system solutions as well as user support and training within the central institute and other laboratories
• Support and maintenance of the communication link to LIMS and other databases (e.g. Hybase, Genius)
• Monitoring and optimization of processes for sample processing / data transfers from the measuring devices to LIMS
• Interfaces, in particular transmission of findings and billing to HIS and external systems
• Coordination of (sub-)projects in the area of laboratory systems
• Preparation of statistics and evaluations
• Participation in on-call duty

and you bring the following with you ....

• Completed university degree in computer science or a comparable course of study
• Several years of professional IT experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility desirable
• Sound knowledge and experience in the field of Windows and Unix operating systems, system-related software applications and in the programming languages C/C++, Java, Perl and scripting languages
• Sound knowledge of the administration of medical subsystems and virtualization techniques
• Knowledge of the laboratory solution from Medat (David) and the HIS from CGM (Medico)
• Ability to solve problems in a clearly structured, organized and independent manner
• Initiative, commitment, cooperation and strong communication skills
• Medical knowledge is an advantage
