NES Advantage is a specialized in-house recruitment partner to Aker Solutions. Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 15,000 people in more than 20 countries.

Aker Solutions is now looking for a Senior Technical Safety Engineer with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Kristiansund .

Position Responsiblities:

• Responsible for managing aspects of technical safety and technical occupational health in accordance with Norwegian regulations and standards (e.g., Norsok S-001 & S-002), as well as Shell DEPs and Aker Solutions' procedures and ways of working (PEM).
• Safety discipline responsible engineer and chairman of safety review meetings such as HAZID and HSE layout design review.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Master of Science with 5 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with Norske Shell's DEPs and overall process safety and barrier management philosophies (e.g. NORSOK S-001 and S-002) is desirable, along with experience as a meeting leader.
• A minimum level of knowledge in all aspects of technical safety and technical occupational health such as:
• • Pipenet knowledge/fire water
  • Functional safety/SIL expertise.
  • QRA and risk analysis related expertise.
  • Occupational hygiene/occupational safety/noise
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Great communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with MIPS and TIME is an advantage.
