Purpose of Position/Summary:
A Local Administrative Specialist works within the IndianaDepartment of Healths Mobile Response Operations Mobile Teams. This position will serve in a designatedgeographical area in the state of Indiana as their primary focal location. This position will coordinate with teammembers and management to assist with public health coordinated outreach andconduct of vaccine and testing locations. This position will be the primary individual on their team that workswith all aspects regarding the registration of individuals in differentdesignated websites to receive the appropriate testing or vaccines required byall ages of individuals. This positionwill also assist in any set up and demobilization of resources while alsoworking with team members to track multiple resources used by the team that candiffer from day to day as well as by mission type.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Thispositions primary role is to be the subject matter expert on clientregistration for the opportunities being offered by the Mobile Response Teams
Showthe ability to adapt to different community environments throughout the stateof Indiana.
Assistin any crowd control and flow with individuals either on foot or in a vehicle.
Demonstratethe ability to handle tracking of extremely different resources used by MobileResponse team.
Maintainproficiency and receive routine or assigned inperson and digital training inprocedures for their position.
Assistin set up conduct and demobilization of all sites assigned to individual.

Conduct self in a manner thatdemonstrates professional and state conduct policies and procedures.
Complete assigned tasks byMobile Response Lead that can change from day to day.
Handles all changes in policyand procedures as needed.

Ability to work with changingenvironments in different weather conditions time of day or days of the week

Responsibility:
Position will play a vital role in the successfuland efficent conduct of activities related to the agencys mobile responseoperations program. Employee will work with external and internal partners toensure Mobile Response Operation (MRO) teams can can conduct roles andresponsibilites effectively and in a timely manner. The employee will workindependently and with supervision to make wise decisions concerning programconduct. Employee will actively participate in the development and maintenanceof all MRO related activities.
PersonalWork Relationships:
Employee reports directly to a MobileResponse Lead and conveys information as appropriate to all situations that canoccur. Employee will be in contact with program staff within the team andsection and serve as a vital member of the team. Employee will be a intialcontact for patients when on sites. Allrelationships will be in a professional manner and be handled in a manner thatfollows section division agency and state policies and procedures.
Physical Effort:
Physical straincan occur on the job. This will include lifting of objects 20 pounds andstanding for long periods of time. Thejob can also require individuals to travel in a Mobile Unit for longer periodsof time.
Working Conditions:
Employeescan work in all weather conditions indoor and outdoor that can occur throughoutthe year in Indiana.
Mustbe able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and times of the day.
