Job Description - Interoperability Specialist

More than 100,000 practices work with the IT designed, developed or certified by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians.

For our largest IT and digitization department in the center of Berlin, we are looking for a permanent specialist (f/m/d) for the next possible date.

Interoperability Specialist (f/m/d) Digital Health

With your expertise, you will contribute to fail-safe software that saves lives in an emergency in the smooth operation of practices for more than 73 million people with statutory health insurance.

YOUR TASKS

  • You will work on complex topics in the design of KBV interfaces based on international standards (HL7 FHIR) and thus lay the foundation for interoperability in the healthcare system
  • You work in a team-oriented manner in close coordination with medical expertise to develop interfaces from the initial idea to a model to a ready-to-use interface
  • The aim is to develop nationally valid interfaces with high relevance and scope for medical care
  • You convince the relevant stakeholders of your implementation and accompany the coordination process as part of the introduction of the interfaces
  • You are responsible for the design and implementation of certification procedures for these interfaces

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a degree in medical informatics or a comparable field of study
  • Very good knowledge of XML and JSON as well as the analysis of business processes, technical concepts, requirements and stakeholder management and the preparation of complex technical issues
  • Ideally experience in the field of advocacy as well as medical standards and terminologies such as HL7 FHIR, FHIR FSH, SNOMED CT and LOINC
  • In addition, you have a team-oriented way of working in an interdisciplinary working environment and the necessary communication skills in German (C1/C2), both written and spoken
