What You Need to Know

We are now searching for more candidates who can contribute to complementing our team! The workshop at Proserv Stavanger consists of various teams: service, rental, lab and production. A mechanic is hired in the workshop and dedicated to one of the teams but rotates and moves as needed. Initially, we are looking for mechanics for the service and rental teams.

It is preferred that employees are available to travel for assignments when necessary. These assignments may encompass both offshore and onshore task, where mechanics provide servicing for customer equipment or act as operators for rental equipment.

Not a requirement for applying, but:

• We are seeking personnel who can serve as course instructors for the user courses at the Proserv Training Center. These courses have been developed by Proserv to provide training on equipment that we manufacture or rent out.

• An additional advantage for us is if you have experience with pipework/tubing/Autoclave. In that case, your roles will also involve internal training and coaching of our customers` personnel. 

What We Are Looking For

Some of the Key Accountabilities:

• Carrying out mechanical work, assembly, and maintenance of liquid and gas units for projects or on our own rental equipment.
• The mechanic is responsible for maintaining a high standard of technical equipment.
• Ensure the quality of the tasks performed and that the completion of associated documentation is carried out in accordance with applicable standards, requirements, and specifications.
• Assembly of new equipment which may involve fabrication and assembly of tubing, valves, and pumps.
• You will have the opportunity to work with well-known brand such as Autoclave (Parker), Haskel, Woma and Hammerman pumps.
• Perform pressure and functional testing of assembled equipment.
• Creating work reports and product certificates is part of the job tasks.

• You must be proficient in Norwegian verbal communication!

Qualifications / Skills & Experience

• Upper secondary school
• Strong mechanical understanding
• 1-3 years of relevant mechanical work experience

Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
