To lead our European team, we are looking for the next possible date at our headquarters in the Speicherstadt for a

Head of IT Operations (m/f/d)

In this position, you will report directly to the Group IT Director.

Strong performance: your job in detail

• You will be responsible for the technical, disciplinary management and further development of our European team, which is represented at several locations, in the areas of infrastructure/systems, support and digitization
• You are responsible for the provision, further development and monitoring of cost-efficient, stable and secure system operation, taking into account the highest level of customer satisfaction within the agreed service level
• You have a leading and inspiring role in identifying and implementing continuous improvements to internal structures, procedures and processes

Your ticket: your skills and talent

• You have a degree in computer science, engineering or natural sciences and/or already have at least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable management position
• You have sound, field-tested knowledge in the areas of Azure (virtualization, AD, client and server administration), Microsoft Office365 (especially compliance, teams, Exchange, Sharepoint), SCCM, Intune, telephony and IT security
• You have already successfully led a team in the past - you are familiar with recruiting, building and further development, also in an international context
• You are empathetic, a strong communicator and confident in dealing with employees, specialist departments and external service providers
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile
• Occasional business trips (max. share 10%) are no obstacle for you
