What You Will Do

As our Field Sales Rep you’ll be responsible for prospecting and selling Civil Design and Engineering software to new and existing accounts, and maintaining relationships for pipeline purposes. 

• Manage the sales process for a diverse group of assigned business opportunities.
• Develop sales strategy plans for assigned accounts.
• Effectively manage a sales pipeline and achieve sales targets and forecasts.
• Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities to prospective and existing customers.
• Negotiate and close the deals.
• Participate in road shows, user days and other customer events (seminars/webinars).
• Respond to RFI’s (Request for Information) and RFP’s (Request for Proposal).
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, results and forecasts.
• Visit customers in a face to face environment when needed.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

• Experience or knowledge of Civil Design and Engineering software as Trimble Quadri and Novapoint and/or Tekla Structures products
• Knowledge of the Norwegian civil construction market
• Minimum of three years of experience successfully selling SaaS solutions
• A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota
• Commitment to strategy, customer relations, negotiation and ability to close
• Good presentation and communication skills across all levels of an organization
• Have experience with CRM systems, like Salesforce.com
• Fluent in Norwegian and English both verbally and in writing
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Curiosity and persistence, desire to learn and to develop new skills
• Ability to travel in Norway

About Your Location
You will be located in a hybrid role at Trimble Solutions Sandvika (Bærum, Norway).
You will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time working in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 3 days per week in the office.
