We are looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team

As an accountant at Pexip, you will be part of the finance department, led by the CFO. The department currently consists of 9 people working in accounting, controlling, reporting, and invoicing. In this position, you will have a broad network within the company and be an important contributor to the efficiency and continuous improvement of accounting processes. The role will evolve as the company is experiencing strong growth, and more exciting responsibilities may arise in the future. The role reports to the Head of Group Accounting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ongoing accounting for our two Norwegian companies


• Managing the invoice flow


• Matching payments from customers


• Month-end closing
  
  
  
  • Closing modules
  
  
  • Reconciling modules and other balance sheet accounts – following up on discrepancies
  
  
  • Currency adjustments
  
  
  • VAT reporting and reconciliation
  
  
  • Provisions and other general ledger entries
  
  
  
  


• Contributing to process and system improvements


• Providing backup for the payroll function

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Authorization as an accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, but ideally more


• Experience working with larger companies


• Experience with Visma.net


• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, both spoken and written


• Strong communication skills with external customers, suppliers, as well as internally within the organization
