Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Amazon Performance and Marketing Specialist  to join our growing team on a 12-month maternity leave cover at our Airthings HQ in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing advertising strategies to increase sales and improve brand visibility on Amazon. You will also be responsible for developing high-quality campaigns, optimizing and localizing it in a way that resonates with our target audience and helps to drive traffic and sales on our Social Media channels and on the Amazon platform. 



Key Responsibilities



  • Own and optimize Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Ads & DSP) globally, collaborating with advertising partners, analyzing and reporting on KPIs (Acos, ROAS, CTR, CVR, etc) to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with Amazon and Airthings teams to support planned events and promotional activities, and drive Amazon marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and boost sales through advertising, high-performing content, and brand store optimization.

  • Collaborate across teams to create high-impact product listings; blending SEO best practices for maximum discoverability with A/B testing frameworks to optimize creative assets and copy for peak conversion.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights to inform marketing and content strategy. Stay up-to-date with the latest Amazon trends and best practices to ensure maximum ROI.

  • Partner with Digital Growth and Brand teams to scale consumer social content, focusing on increasing organic reach and building a loyal audience through innovative creative ideas.

  • Adapt and repurpose high-impact creative across organic and Amazon platforms to ensure a cohesive brand narrative and maximize asset ROI.

  • Use organic social channels as a testing ground to identify high-performing hooks and visuals, "graduating" winning content into optimized assets for Amazon.



Qualifications & Skills



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in performance marketing and content management preferably includes Amazon specific experience.

  • Solid understanding of the e-commerce environment, including knowledge in areas such as advertising, SEO, content creation and optimization of product pages.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.

  • Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns and optimizing product listings.

  • Preferred qualifications include Amazon Analytics tools, such as Amazon Advertising Console, Pacvue, Helium 10, Vendor/Seller Central reports and Amazon Brand Analytics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis tools.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Passion for e-commerce and a desire to stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Good level of written and spoken English.
