Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager, you will join our sales team. Your mission will be to recruit new partners and secure new sales opportunities. You will work closely with different Vendor brands, your colleagues, and assigned Arrow partners.

Within this position, you will be mainly responsible for business development and as well the management of client accounts. Your role will involve continuous relationship development between the business area, regional teams, and the vendors, to ensure trust and support of business objectives.

 

This is an office-based position (Oslo, Norway), with a hybrid work option. 

What will you be doing? 

On the daily basis, you will be:

  • Working with Arrow Internal Sales teams, to identify the key reseller partners with good potential to develop sales of the vendor’s products and services.
  • Working with the above-mentioned partners to ensure they have all the tools necessary to capitalize on their sales potential.
  •  

Your principal tasks will be:

  • Execute successful business plans
  • Identify new partners, engage and enable them accordingly to drive incremental sales
  • Enable partners by providing regular sales training
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the vendor and partners
  • Initiating marketing campaigns for the partners to find new leads
  • Regular and accurate forecasting of opportunities, providing detail for both short- and long-term deals

A few things you’re an expert at:

  • Development of new Customers, excellent communication skills
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Business Development/Account Management within the IT distribution/IT manufacturers’ sector
  • Good understanding of the IT industry and the position of a distributor into the channel
  • You are self-driven with a “can do attitude” on business development
  • Good knowledge of the local market
  • Bilingual Norwich and fluency in the English language are a must to be successful in this recruitment
