Job Description - Business Development Manager - Norway
We are looking for a Business Development Manager for sales of utility-scale PV inverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems in Norway. As part of our regional team, you’ll be our first employee in Norway, joining a global, multicultural and fast-growing company. Taking ownership, being proactive and flexible, are the essentials to succeed in this position.
What You'll Do
Manage and develop strategic accounts in the Norwegian PV and BESS sector.
Being the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll collaborate with our product managers, logistics team, project managers, etc. to ensure seamless project implementation.
Visit customers regularly and participate in tradeshows and conferences.
Analyse customer needs and market trends and optimizing the sales process.
Work on precise forecasts and market updates.
What will you need to be successful?
2+ years of proven experience in sales / key account management, preferably in the PV and/or BESS sector
In-depth knowledge of the energy sector.
Fluency in Norwegian and English - verbal and written
Driving license and willingness to travel periodically
As a person you are:
A self-starter, who takes ownership, focuses on results and is attentive to details.
Flexible, with a proactive mindset, you’re a team player and able to work in a dynamic and diverse environment.
A strong written and verbal communicator, with the ability to collaborate across an international organization.
You will contribute to Sungrow’s growth in the region Denmark / Norway, and work directly with key stakeholders involved in the clean energy industry. We are market leaders in the solar energy space with the strongest PV-inverter R&D team and we are the world’s largest inverter manufacturer.
