We are looking for someone who thinks business first, and uses architecture as a tool to drive clarity, decisions and outcomes. You understand what drives customer value, you can translate ambiguous needs into clear direction — and you make things happen. Technical depth matters, but what sets you apart is your ability to bridge business strategy and technology execution.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of architecture, problem solving and execution — and who wants to own both the why and the how, in close collaboration with our architectural leadership.

About Us

Wealth Management IT develops and manages the systems behind DNB's savings and investment products. Our cloud journey is mature. We have built and rebuilt solutions multiple times — each generation more cloud-native, scalable and optimized than the last. You are not joining a migration project. You will work closely with our Head of Architecture and the broader architecture community to ensure a coherent, secure and forward-looking technical direction across Wealth Management.

What You Will Do

This role combines architecture, business analysis, and initiative leadership. You will:

Drive initiatives and create clarity

• Lead work from idea to implemented solution


• Structure needs, run workshops and prepare decision-ready proposals


• Translate business needs into clear plans, priorities and solution concepts

Shape and align technical direction

• Contribute to target architecture, solution design and technical decisions


• Collaborate with the Head of Architecture and fellow architects to ensure consistency across domains


• Support development teams, manage dependencies, and ensure solutions meet expectations on security, quality and scalability


• Evolve our investment platform — including APIs, integration patterns, data flows and cloud capabilities

Connect business and technology

• Act as the closest technical partner to business and product teams


• Challenge assumptions and ensure that technology choices support business value


• Drive alignment across stakeholders to create shared direction and momentum

In short: You link business needs, architecture and execution — and you make things happen, together with our architecture leadership.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong ability to drive clarity, lead processes and create progress in complex, cross-functional environments


• Is curious about how AI can reshape architecture, product development and customer experience


• Has experience as IT Architect, Solution Architect, Business Architect or Technical Lead


• Ideally has experience within investments, savings or financial services


• Is strong in requirements analysis, breaking down complex problems, information structuring and clear communication


• Understands how modern cloud-based architecture, APIs and integrations enable business capabilities and customer value


• Has experience with AWS, Azure or similar cloud ecosystems


• Sees the big picture — technically, functionally and business-wise


• Background as Business Analyst, Product Owner or similar, combined with architecture experience is highly relevant


• Is strong in structuring problems, breaking down complexity and turning ambiguity into clear direction

Nice to Have

• Experience with .NET or backend development


• Knowledge of project methodology, road mapping or prioritization


• Relevant cloud or architecture certifications
