Cable Moulding Technician

What you'll be doing

As Cable Moulding Technician, you’ll be part of our growing team in Norway. You will be responsible  for  the production, preparation, soldering, cleaning, labelling and testing of all cable assemblies, subsea tails and connectors. 

Day to day you’ll be involved in;

• Preparing wiring diagrams and cable drawings


• Wiring, termination and moulding of cables and connector
  


• Preparing materials and parts used in cable manufacturing 


• Asset management of the cable and connector stock


• Ensuring that all cable and connector stock is maintained & stored correctly and safely
  


• Running onsite training on how to use cable moulding machines


• Ensuring all cable assemblies are clearly labelled and identified
  


• Ensuring the mould shop remains a safe and clean working environment
  

What experience you’ll bring:

• Experience in soldering is essential


• You'll also have cable & connector manufacturing experience, with the ability to interpret wiring diagram
  


• You can fault find and problem solve


• You are organised and manage your time effectively


• You are conscientious, methodical and attentive to fine detail
