Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO)

As CPTO, you’ll lead both product and engineering, shaping our long-term strategy and transforming our hardware and rich agricultural data into scalable software products. You’ll be responsible for building a high-performing, customer-obsessed organization, ensuring we achieve strong product-market fit and deliver measurable impact.

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

• Building on our product-led foundation to continuously strengthen product-market fit
• Mentor and develop technology and product leaders while building high-performing, cross-functional teams
• Oversee our technology stack — from the animal-wearable hardware in the field to real-time data processing, user-facing mobile apps, and cloud infrastructure
• Advance innovation in machine learning applications for agricultural insights
• Lead long-term innovation and R&D efforts to ensure sustained product differentiation and future growth
• Drive our data strategy to unlock insights from livestock behavior patterns, environmental conditions, and farm operations
• Champion our environmental impact measurement and reporting, using technology to demonstrate quantifiable sustainability benefits to customers and stakeholders
  

About you

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar senior technology leadership role
• Strong background working in product-led, cross-functional, growth companies that have scaled internationally
• Experience building and scaling technology teams and engineering organizations
• Proven ability to establish a data-driven decision-making culture and product analytics frameworks
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and investors.
• You have a hands-on engineering background, with experience ’in the trenches’ as a software engineer
• HW experience is a plus, especially for candidates with a primary background in SW or SaaS
