Job Description - Customer Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have a central position in the support and further development of our software for emergency services, which saves lives and significant value every day. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of critical ICT solutions.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Be part of the team responsible for maintaining and ensuring new software versions are deployed across various environments.

  • Support and troubleshooting on Level 3 tickets

  • IT security

  • Be a part of duty on call 24/7/365



Qualifications & Experience: 



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.

  • Experience with Azure, Scrum and DevOps practices.

  • At least 5 years’ experience with Software development, and the latest versions of C#, .NET, MS SQL.

  • Familiarity with one or more of these technologies and tools: GitHub, GitOps, Splunk, WPF, WCF, OpenId Connect, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, Blazor and ArcGIS GIS platforms.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.

  • Must be able to obtain security clearance at the "confidential" level.

Our company develops and manages socially critical ICT solutions covered by the Patient Records Act. The candidate moving to offer stages will therefore be asked to provide a police clearance certificate for the offer to be valid.
