Electrical Engineer - (Senior)ArcGIS Consultant

We are now looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.     
 
What you will be doing to make a difference: 

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with interest in helping electrical grid companies to succeed in their day to day operations, to join one of our Consultancy team in Trondheim and Oslo. The teams are working on delivery of Volue’s software for the electrical grid companies in Scandinavia. Typical tasks can be: 

• Developing and implementing next-generation digital tools for grid companies

• Providing advisory services related to our products

• Data conversion and migration

• Technical problem solving

• Installation and upgrades

• Customization and integration

It is important that you have an interest in technology and in delivering software for critical infrastructure. You are focused on quality and are constantly looking for improvements. Most important is that you are willing to learn and expand your knowledge.    

What you need to succeed: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or renewable energy

• For the senior position, experience from grid companies consultancy firms, or similar industries is an advantage.

• Interest in technology and delivering software for critical infrastructure

• Experience or interest in GIS or network information systems is a plus

• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and excellent communication skills in English

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, proactive and solution-oriented

The position is a part of the Power Grid Consultancy, and reports to one of the team leads in this department. We are looking to hire Volue office in Trondheim and Oslo.
