Engineer / Aircraft Mechanic

Sola, Norway | Full-time | Permanent

Role Summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS is looking to recruit for multiple roles as Technicians and/or Skilled Workers at our base located in Sola (Stavanger).









Key Responsibilities






  • Responsible for maintaining the required authorisations for aircraft and aircraft components maintained in their area
  • Responsible for the quality of work carried out by themselves and/or non-certifying technicians under their supervision
  • Responsible for the accurate compilation of documentation and the certification of maintenance carried out within the scope of their authority
  • Ensuring that all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status
  • Ensuring that they remain current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data provisioned
  • Ensuring that all tools used during maintenance are properly controlled.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the work area’s under their control
  • Work in compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Ensure that the company IT systems are updated, and ensure proper reporting
  • May perform other duties as assigned within areas of responsibility








Qualifications, Skills & Attributes






Essential

  • Skilled worker certificate avionics or aircraft mechanic
  • EASA Licensed B1.3 and / or B2 Engineer 

 

Desirable

  • Applicants with type ratings for Sikorsky S92 and/or AW189 will be preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian (or other Scandinavian language)
  • Good computer skills.
  • Experience of AMOS MRO software is an advantage
  • Awareness of MSDS and COSHH requirement
