Engineering Manager

SLB Capturi is a leading carbon capture technology company. 

We serve a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, blue hydrogen, bio/waste-to-energy, and gas-to-power among others. Through our portfolio of projects, we are mitigating the environmental cost of industrial activity for a cleaner, more sustainable future. We see a daily growth in our market potential as a rising number of customers look to carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS) and our company to solve their emissions challenges. 

SLB Capturi is one of the leading companies globally that has extensive knowledge of the entire CCUS value chain. We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2. In Denmark, we are delivering five Just Catch 100 units to Ørsted, in the Netherlands one Just Catch 100 unit to Twence, and in Norway a Big Catch to Heidelberg Materials. 

We are now looking for Engineering Manager.

As an Engineering Manager, your purpose is to manage the engineering team on projects and coordinate and align with other functions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all engineering activities and deliverables in the project
• Manage the work scope, and review and recommend actions for all changes and man hour variations as required
• Compile and provide engineering input to project manager for manpower planning, schedule, deliverables, etc.
• Ensure that the SLB Capturi project execution model (PEM), management system and products philosophy are implemented in the project
• Ensure HSSE and sustainability requirements on the project are implemented in all engineering designs
• Ensure engineering tasks and scope are executed as per agreed scope and schedule, with the right quality and technical correctness
• Manage interfaces between engineering and other project functions, vendors, client & others as applicable and provide information to the project manager as needed
• Ensure timely exchange of information and support between engineering and other project functions as needed
• Liaise with others in the project team, clients and vendors on technical matters, as applicable

Your qualifications

• Exceptional understanding and proficiency in project execution.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities coupled with a commercial outlook.
• Solid knowledge of the SLB Capturi product suite and its application in projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering discipline activities.
• Outstanding language and interpersonal communication skills.
• At least 5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager on projects.
• Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, partners, and contractors.
• Self-driven and proactive.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Focused on solutions and delivery.
• Open-minded and willing to share knowledge.
