Our unique subsea monitoring technology is being adopted widely across the industry and our Monitoring & Repair Solutions team in Kristiansand is growing. Hence we are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop this team.

Responsibilities

• Team lead for a group of engineers in Kristiansand
• In line with our company values you will lead, mentor, and develop the multidisciplinary team of the department, focusing on employee satisfaction while continuing to develop and deliver leading edge monitoring solutions
• Responsible for the delivery of equipment assembled with 4Subsea products and third-party suppliers.
• Link between all the expert groups in 4Subsea to use the expertise across the organizations to deliver multidiscipline projects.
• Accelerate the use of sensors developed and manufactured in Kristiansand together with the instrumentation environment.
• Both participate in and manage technical aspects of project work, services and development related to monitoring of flexible pipes, cables, dynamic risers, and structures within the oil, gas, drilling and wind industry.
• Manage internal and external project interfaces including sub-supplier and technical management of internal engineering project resources.
• Interface and liaise with and follow-up of client as technical focal point during delivery of projects.
• Provide technical input to proposals and change management in describing technical solutions and obtaining sub-supplier scope and cost input.

Requirements

• Experience from leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers
• Experience with sensor technology and subsea monitoring within the energy sector
• Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and/or a proven track record from similar roles
• Fluent in English and Norwegian
• Some travel will be required
