About the role 

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect with a strong focus on the payments domain to help shape the next generation of banking services. You will join our Technology & Architecture department, working alongside highly skilled architects to design solutions that are secure, scalable, and future-ready. 

Your impact 

• Define and evolve enterprise architecture principles and roadmaps for payments
• Drive innovation in payment services—instant payments, card schemes, cross-border transfers—while ensuring compliance with Norwegian and global standards (ISO 20022, PSD2, SEPA, NPC Rulebooks)
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align architecture with strategic goals
• Guide solution architects and teams in implementing resilient, containerized, cloud-native, API-first ecosystems
• Contribute to modernization initiatives and leverage data-driven architectures and emerging technologies like AI to improve efficiency and customer experience

What we’re looking for 

• Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar senior role in financial services or fintech
• Deep understanding of Norwegian and international payment value streams, clearing, settlement, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience in designing and governing complex architectures for critical applications — high availability, security, and performance at scale
• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), API management, and data architecture principles
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern integration patterns
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance strategic vision with practical implementation
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both verbally and in writing
