As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for an experienced ERP/MRP Architect to configure, optimize, and maintain the Odoo ERP/MRP system to support production, supply chain, cost reporting, warehouse management, and shop floor control. This role is critical in ensuring seamless integration of manufacturing processes, real-time production tracking, financial reporting, and performance monitoring. The ERP/MRP Architect will work closely with engineering, supply chain, finance, production, and warehouse teams to ensure the ERP system aligns with business objectives and drives operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Odoo configuration, manufacturing workflows, and cost structure roll-ups.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP/MRP System Configuration & Optimization

• Configure and maintain Odoo ERP/MRP modules to support manufacturing, production planning, procurement, and inventory management.

• Develop and customize Manufacturing Orders (MO) workflows, ensuring efficient shop floor control and production scheduling.

• Integrate ERP functionalities with supply chain processes, warehouse management, and quality control.

• Ensure real-time tracking of work orders, materials consumption, and inventory movements.

Cost Roll-Up & Financial Reporting

• Design and maintain cost structures, ensuring accurate cost roll-up for BOMs, materials, labor, and overhead costs.

• Develop financial reporting dashboards that provide real-time visibility into production costs, margins, and profitability.

• Implement automated cost tracking to support financial decision-making and cost control initiatives.

• Work with finance teams to ensure ERP data aligns with accounting and reporting requirements.

Production KPI Monitoring & Data Analytics

• Establish key production KPIs, including yield rates, efficiency metrics, downtime tracking, and throughput analysis.

• Develop real-time dashboards and reports to monitor shop floor performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity for manufacturing and supply chain analytics.

• Support predictive analytics and forecasting models for demand planning and production scheduling.

System Integration & Process Automation

• Integrate Odoo ERP with other business systems, including PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), and financial reporting tools.

• Automate data flows between procurement, warehouse, and production to enhance operational efficiency.

• Optimize ERP workflows for material requirements planning (MRP), work order execution, and inventory control.

• Ensure seamless EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and API integrations with external suppliers and logistics providers.

ERP Governance, Compliance & Training

• Develop best practices for ERP system governance, access control, and data security.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, audit requirements, and company policies.

• Conduct training sessions for production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to improve ERP adoption and usability.

• Provide ongoing user support and system troubleshooting.
