Are you our new Flight Controller?


 


We are now seeking to strengthen our Operation Control Centre and are hiring a Flight Controller based at our headquarters in Fornebu, Oslo.


The Operation Control Center (IOCC) delivers operational services to all of Norwegian’s Air Operators Certificates (AOCs) and is a fundamental platform for enabling schedule integrity to deliver an unrivaled product to our customers. In this role you will be responsible for: 


 


As a Flight Controller, you will monitor the daily traffic flow for the entire Norwegian fleet. Your primary responsibility will be finding the best solutions to keep our on-time performance at the highest level, ensuring the operation is carried out efficiently and profitably for all Norwegian AOCs, and with the highest degree of regularity and customer satisfaction.


A central task will be to ensure the operation aligns with the planned program and to implement necessary measures during any interruptions. The position reports to the SVP IOCC.


 


 


The job will be for you if:


 



  • 3 years + job related experience in the Aviation or Transport industry, preferably from an Operation Control Center.

  • Proven knowledge of applicable rules and legislation in the aviation industry.

  • Knowledge of Netline OPS and LIDO.

  • Experience with coordinating and structuring documentation.

  • Strong analytical skills related to process and value chain systems.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholder and to communicate complex topics effectively.

  • A self-motivated and structured individual with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to tackle a high workload and thrive under pressure while meeting deadlines.

  • Capable of maintaining a sharp focus in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills in both a Scandinavian language and English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to understand and utilize complex software systems.

  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
