Role overview:

We seek a skilled Group Accounting Lead (Regnskapsansvarlig) based in Norway to help elevate and streamline our finance operations across four countries. In this global role, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounting activities, lead the month-end close process, maintain accurate financial documentation, and drive continuous improvement in our financial workflows. Reporting directly to the CFO in Norway, you will also be key in implementing and optimising core systems, including our cloud ERP, travel and expense tools, and CPQ platform. 💻 Our Group Accounting Lead's daily challenges:

• Keep the books for the Norwegian parent company and oversee consolidated group accounts.


• Coordinate local accountants in Norway and each subsidiary, ensuring timely and accurate ledgers.


• Follow up and improve accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes. 


• Safeguard revenue recognition for both SaaS subscriptions and project work; partner closely with the rest of our Finance team.


• Administer the travel & expense platform (policy, reimbursements, corporate cards)


• Act as internal super‑user for the ERP system—drive automation, data quality, and user training.


• Maintain the month-end checklist, strengthen internal controls, and drive automation.


• First point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and transfer-pricing partners.


• Support the Financial Controller with data quality for the KPI and BI dashboards.
  
  

👏 Factors that make you a great fit:

Must-haves:

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting/audit, either from an accounting/audit firm or an in-house finance team


• Fluent in written and spoken Norwegian, along with strong English language skills


• Interest in and willingness to improve processes continuously 


• Ability to document finance processes and drive organisation-wide compliance.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency with Xledger or other ERP/accounting software


• Experience with expense management software like Pleo


• Familiarity with SaaS revenue recognition and/or project-based revenue recognition practices.


• Experience with multi-currency environments


• Background with multi-entity consolidation.
