Group Head of Tax

Join DOF as our Group Head of Tax!

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Group Head of Tax to lead our global tax function. This is a key corporate role responsible for shaping and executing tax strategies that align with DOF’s overall business objectives. As Group Head of Tax, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to advise on tax implications. We are looking for a candidate that can provide deep expertise in international tax planning, compliance and transfer pricing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute global tax strategies in line with group strategy
• Optimize the group’s overall payable tax rate
• Identify tax opportunities and risks across jurisdictions
• Design tax-efficient structures for entities, capital, assets, and projects
• Ensure full compliance with international and local tax regulations
• Oversee and coordinate transfer pricing policies, documentation, and reporting
• Lead and manage global tax resources and external advisors
• Collaborate closely with other teams to support the company's strategic initiatives

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Law, Business or similar field
• 5+ years of experience with international tax, with a background in tax, legal, or auditing.
• Experience within the maritime sector or large-scale service delivery businesses is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing
• Solid leadership and management skills.
• Analytical and accurate
• Fluent in English, with good communication skills both spoken and written

Location

This position will be based in Bergen, Norway or Copenhagen, Denmark, depending on the candidate.
