IT Network Administrator (m/f/d)

Our medical care center for laboratory medicine, microbiology, hygiene, clinical infection medicine and human genetics (MVZ Clotten) with almost 250 employees in Freiburg and integrated into the high-performance laboratory network of the Limbach Group is looking for a part-time / full-time position (80 % to 100 %) with immediate effect.

an IT Network Administrator (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Design, operation and administration of the entire network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and firewall)
• Design, implementation and operation of network and device segmentation as well as IT security requirements
• Support with the integration of solutions into the existing IT landscape
• Creation of documentation on the IT landscape, faults and problem solutions
• Contact person (m/f/d) in the area of telecommunications infrastructure
• Support in maintaining the existing IT infrastructure (storage, servers, etc.)
• Willingness to take over the rotating on-call duty in the team (24/7) with corresponding response times

Your profile:

• A degree in information technology or computer science, training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the administration of a heterogeneous IT environment
• Extensive specialist knowledge of IP networks, DNS, DHCP, WLAN and Cisco operating systems (IOS and NX-OS)
• Experience in analyzing network protocols and experienced handling of scripting languages, VLAN configuration and administration
• Knowledge of SAN and storage environments and Linux operating systems is desirable
• Certifications for Microsoft client and server as well as Cisco in the field of network technology are an advantage
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Ability to work under pressure as well as a team and customer-oriented, structured working style
• An analytical and independent way of working as well as an interest in and willingness to learn about new technological developments
