Operations Manager

XXL is now hiring an Operations Manager Norway – a central leadership role responsible for optimizing and developing store operations with a regional focus on Innlandet and Østlandet. This is a strategic and hands-on position where you will have direct personnel responsibility for our store managers in these regions, working closely with both store leadership and cross-functional teams.

About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving performance and operational excellence across XXL stores in Innlandet and Østlandet, supporting store managers and aligning local execution with national strategy. You will be a key link between the stores and the leadership team, ensuring consistent standards, strong collaboration, and a results-driven culture.

The role reports to the Managing Director (MD) Norway and is based at our headquarters in Alnabru, Oslo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and profitable daily operations across all XXL Norway stores












• Analyze and follow up on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to staffing, productivity, inventory flow, and cost control












• Develop and implement best practices for operational processes and routines












• Support workforce planning and resource optimization across stores












• Work closely with the operations team to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and drive continuous improvement initiatives












• Lead change processes and cross-functional development projects

• Holds a higher education degree in retail, logistics, business, leadership, or a related field












• Has relevant experience in retail operations, logistics, or chain management












• Possesses strong business acumen and is comfortable working in a data-driven and structured manner












• Collaborates effectively across multiple levels of the organization and can balance operational and strategic needs












• Has high execution ability, excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
