THE OPPORTUNITY

An international AI and hyperscale data centre programme is seeking an experienced Project Manager to relocate to Indonesia for a long-term assignment delivering next-generation AI infrastructure projects.

This is a unique opportunity to join a major international programme delivering advanced AI, cloud and high-performance computing facilities within one of the world's fastest-growing digital infrastructure markets.

The successful candidate will commit to a long-term overseas assignment and play a key role in the delivery of cutting-edge hyperscale AI infrastructure.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Working on behalf of a global AI infrastructure developer delivering hyperscale AI and high-performance computing facilities across Southeast Asia, the successful candidate will join a long-term programme focused on next-generation AI compute environments, GPU infrastructure and mission-critical facilities.

Projects will support large-scale AI workloads, cloud computing and high-density environments requiring the highest levels of resilience, reliability and performance.

AI & HYPERSCALE INFRASTRUCTURE ENVIRONMENT

The successful candidate will work within environments supporting large-scale AI compute, cloud platforms and high-performance infrastructure associated with:

Neo Cloud environments.

Hyperscale data centre developments.

CoreWeave AI compute and GPU infrastructure.

Everest AI infrastructure programmes.

Hugging Face AI models and machine learning platforms.

PROJECT SCALE & ENVIRONMENT

The successful candidate will be involved in the delivery of hyperscale AI data centre developments and next-generation compute infrastructure supporting cloud, GPU and machine learning technologies.

Projects will support high-density compute environments, mission-critical operations and advanced digital infrastructure requiring the highest levels of availability and operational resilience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the delivery of AI and hyperscale data centre projects.

* Manage project programmes, budgets and delivery milestones.

* Coordinate CSA, MEP and commissioning activities.

* Manage consultants, subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners.

* Drive health, safety, quality and programme performance.

* Produce client reports and manage key stakeholder relationships.

* Support project handover and operational readiness activities.

* Manage multidisciplinary project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.

* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

* Reporting directly to the Programme Director.

* Working alongside construction, commissioning and engineering leadership teams.

* Managing internal project teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors.

* Coordinating multiple stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Strong understanding of MEP systems within mission-critical environments.

* Experience coordinating CSA, MEP and commissioning activities.

* Understanding of critical power infrastructure including UPS, generators and electrical distribution systems.

* Knowledge of cooling infrastructure and thermal management solutions.

* Familiarity with commissioning and integrated systems testing processes.

* Experience managing large multidisciplinary project teams.

* Understanding of programme controls, reporting and cost management.

* Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

* Ability to work within complex, fast-paced project environments.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

* Project management experience within data centres or mission-critical environments.

* Experience delivering large construction projects.

* Experience managing multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.

* Strong commercial and programme management capabilities.

* Ability to relocate to Indonesia for a minimum three-year assignment.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

Hyperscale data centre experience.

AI compute or GPU infrastructure experience.

International project delivery experience.

Client-side or developer-side experience.

Experience working on mission-critical facilities.

Experience within cloud infrastructure or high-performance computing environments.

Previous overseas or long-term international assignments.

Experience delivering projects within live operational environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.

APM, PMP or Prince2 certification.

SMSTS.

CDM awareness.

Health and Safety qualification desirable.

Full driving licence.

AI & DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE KNOWLEDGE (DESIRABLE)

Understanding of AI infrastructure and GPU-based compute environments.

Awareness of cloud computing platforms and AI technologies.

Knowledge of high-density data centre environments.

Familiarity with AI workloads and associated infrastructure requirements.

Understanding of emerging AI and high-performance computing trends.

SALARY & PACKAGE

£120,000 – £150,000 DOE & Package.
