Wilhelmsen Global Business Services (GBS) is looking for a Property Procurement Manager
Location: Lysaker (Norway) | Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Are you ready to take full end-to-end responsibility for our global property portfolio, with the mandate to challenge, influence, and decide?
This is a high-impact, independent role with responsibility for property strategy, lease management, and commercial decision-making across Wilhelmsen’s global office, warehouse, and port-location footprint. You will work closely with Presidents, CFOs, and senior leaders across Business Units, acting as the company’s property expert and trusted advisor.
If you enjoy operating independently, challenging assumptions, and driving strong commercial outcomes in a global environment — this role offers real scope and influence.
What will you work on:
End-to-end ownership of Wilhelmsen’s global property portfolio
Proactive lease renewals and relocations — ensuring no missed deadlines
Management of offices, warehouses, and shared locations across BUs
Lead property-related projects, including renewals and relocations
Develop and support business cases for property decisions in close collaboration with CFOs and Presidents
Challenge location strategy, cost assumptions, and deal structures where needed
Act as the single point of expertise for property matters globally
Engage and manage local real estate agencies and external advisors
Stay informed on relevant real estate market trends and practices
What you need to be successful in the role:
Solid experience in real estate, property procurement, or corporate real estate (leasing focus)
Proven track record managing complex, multi-country lease portfolios
Experience with offices and industrial/warehouse environments
Exposure to property acquisitions is a plus, though the role is predominantly lease-driven
Strong financial acumen with the ability to build and defend business cases
Confident negotiator, comfortable pushing back and challenging senior stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a global setting
What we are looking for:
Highly proactive, resourceful, and self-driven
Comfortable operating as a sole contributor with full accountability
Assertive yet collaborative — able to “take the fight” constructively
Globally minded with strong cultural awareness
Excellent command of English
What it’s like to work with us:
We can offer a culture and work environment of strong leadership, career development, work-life balance and a job that is both challenging and stimulating. Beyond this, we have benefits that include, but are not limited to:
A global role with exposure across regions and occasional travel
Flexible working arrangements (hybrid)
Mobile subscription
Competitive pension and insurances plan
Company cabins and international apartments
Sports club membership and a wide range of cultural and social activities
Social events throughout the year
