PS Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Sandefjord. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the Sandefjord and/or Oslo office, reporting to the Manager of Professional Services.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the software development and maintenance of the new national solution for AMK control rooms in Norway, ensuring high quality and efficiency.


• Collaborate with teams to enhance solutions based on customer needs.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.


• Participate in development and DevOps teams, supporting the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.


• Share expertise and experience with the team.


• Work effectively within a Scrum framework.


• Provide expertise to assist 3rd line support.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Computer Science.


• 5+ years of proven experience in system development with a strong technical background.


• Proficiency in the latest versions of C#, .NET, and MS SQL.


• Familiarity with Scrum and DevOps practices and tools.


• Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.


• Strong collaboration skills and effective communication.


• Basic Norwegian language skills and good proficiency in English are mandatory.


• Legally eligible to work in the country without employer sponsorship.


• Must be able to obtain security clearance at the "confidential" level.

Good to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is beneficial: ASP.NET, Entity Framework, RabbitMQ, GitHub, GitOps, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, WPF, Blazor, Azure, Kubernetes, OpenId Connect, and ESRI ArcGIS platforms.
