Job Description - Sales Executive

Job Description:

Sales Executive 

DXC Technology is looking for a Sales Executive to join our Norway team and support our growth ambitions in the local market. This role will focus on originating and closing new business opportunities across selected strategic industries, while positioning DXC’s capabilities in digital transformation, cloud, cybersecurity, applications, and managed services. 

The Sales Executive will play an important role in expanding DXC’s presence in Norway by developing qualified pipeline, engaging senior client stakeholders, and leading complex pursuits from early-stage qualification through contract closure. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Originate, qualify, and close new business opportunities in the Norwegian market. 

  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline across priority sectors. 

  • Engage clients in consultative sales conversations around business challenges and transformation priorities. 

  • Position DXC’s service portfolio and differentiated value proposition in a compelling and credible way. 

  • Support proposal development, win strategy, and competitive positioning in complex pursuits. 

  • Work closely with internal delivery, solutioning, commercial, legal, and partner teams. 

  • Build strong relationships with clients, alliance partners, and key market stakeholders. 

  • Maintain sales discipline through accurate forecasting and pipeline management. 

 

Candidate profile 

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of enterprise sales experience within IT services, consulting, or digital transformation, with a proven track record of winning new business and closing complex deals in the Norwegian market. 

  • Strong experience in new business development and complex B2B sales.  

  • Relevant industry exposure in Norway is an advantage.  

  • Commercially driven, structured, and relationship-oriented 

  • Skilled in navigating longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.  

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English.
