Senior Azure Cloud Architect

I am looking for experienced Azure Cloud Architects to join my client's team in Norway.

The primary working location is Oslo, where the company office is located in the heart of the city. Travel to other places in Norway or Europe may be an option occasionally, depending on the assignment and your preferences.

My client is a European leader in public cloud infrastructure solutions and cloud-native application services with offices around Europe including Helsinki (HQ), Stockholm, Oslo, London, Munich, Amsterdam, Poznań, Copenhagen, Vienna, Malmö, and Jyväskylä. They are an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, Google Cloud Platform Strategic Partner and a Microsoft Gold Cloud Partner.

As an Azure Cloud Architect, you'll work on a variety of customer projects, from building new infrastructure and migrations to audits and Big Data. The daily work can include everything from implementing a configuration management infrastructure to conducting workshops and design recommendations for a technical team. In addition, you will become a trusted advisor to well-known companies and manage customer relationships and roadmap together with the sales team. 

You will be:

• Participating in various customer projects, from implementing cloud foundations and platforms to transforming workloads into cloud-native application
• Doing pre-sales activity including assisting with writing customer proposal
• Deep-diving into the customers' challenges by giving workshops and designing recommendations to technical teams and stakeholders
• A trusted advisor for high-profile enterprises and jointly managing the customer relationship and roadmap with the company account team
• Engaging with the customers from the very start of the customer journey to the cloud and continuing in your role on the customer projects until it's finished
• Acting as a technical thought leader in customer engagements and amongst your peers at the company

You have:

• Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture Design and/or Cloud Architectural Patterns for Development
• At least 5 years of experience in Public Cloud
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure (other public clouds such as AWS and GCP are a plus)
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Norwegian
• Experience in leading complex large-scale projects
• Solid engineering/technical background/hands-on experience with conceptualizing, strategizing, and architecting cloud solutions
  Knowledge of security, network, virtualization, load balancer, storage, and database
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) for managing the cloud
• Knowledge and experience around DevOps/DevSecOps and/or Platform Engineering as well as the ability to share, coach and mentor in these areas
• Active customer consultant and pre-sales attitude
• Experience with enterprise customers or big organizations
• At least 3 years of experience working within the EU
